Department of Admin & Finances
Introduction:
The Department of Administration and Finance is a crucial component of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources in Somalia. It manages the ministry’s administrative and financial functions, including budgeting, accounting, procurement support, asset management, information technology, and records management. By ensuring sound financial practices and efficient administrative systems, the department provides the foundation for the ministry’s operations and the achievement of its strategic objectives.
Objective: The primary objective of the Department of Administration and Finance is to support the ministry in effectively managing its financial resources and administrative functions to facilitate the development and maintenance of energy and water resources across the country. This includes financial planning, budgeting, accounting, administrative coordination, asset and records management, and information technology services that ensure the ministry operates efficiently and transparently.
