The Deputy Minister of energy and water resources H.E has been appointed by the Presidential Decree and has been working tirelessly to support the Minister in carrying out implementing the strategic plans of the Ministry and full fill the commitments letter which the minister submitted to the office of the prime minister. The deputy minister acts and fulfills the duties of the minister when the minister is not on duty or goes for leave.

The Deputy Minister has represented the Ministry for many high levels forums and presented the achievements and strategic priorities of the ministry to the global forums, ensured the ministry engages development partners and global institutions to improve institutional building.

The Ministry of energy and water resources strives to provide clean, affordable, and accessible energy and water and to discover the country’s potential resources which will transform the country into industrial momentous, therefore, the deputy minister leads along with other ministers and leadership to achieve that important milestone.
